Delegation of 14 members from the Indonesian Government, led by the Chief Executive Officer of Jeevika, Mr. Rahul Kumar, and other officials, visited the Manpur and Banke Bazar blocks in Gaya district to observe the activities of Government of Bihar's welfare initiative, the "Satat Jeevikoparjan Yojana."

In the Nauranga Panchayat of Manpur, CEO Jeevika, Governor of West Sumatra Province Mr. Mehyeldi, and other officials held discussions with Sunita Devi, focusing on the impact of schemes such as Satat Jeevikoparjan Yojana and other convergence schemes of the government on the lives of beneficiaries. Sunita Devi, a beneficiary of these schemes, shared her transformative journey from extreme poverty, stating that her life changed through SJY and Jeevika.

The delegation then visited Lakhnapur Panchayat in Manpur, where they interacted with Sanju Devi, who runs a sewing shop. Discussions centered around the positive changes in the lives of women beneficiaries of SJY who have been associated with Jeevika groups.

In Banke Bazar Block, the team from BRAC Indonesia, Bangladesh, and the USA witnessed the activities of beneficiaries under the Satat Jeevikoparjan Yojana. Beneficiaries shared their experiences, emphasizing how they overcame challenges and became successful entrepreneurs after receiving training and support through the program.

The Satat Jeevikoparjan Yojana, a Bihar Government initiative, implemented by JEEVIKA, provides financial assistance of up to ₹200,000 to the poorest families or those previously engaged in alcohol-related or traditional occupations, helping them transition to new livelihoods. The program aims to empower families to sustain their livelihoods and uplift themselves.

The delegation, including Governor Mehyeldi, Wahyu Suharto, and representatives from BRAC International, will continue their immersion and learning exchange (ILE) program in Gaya district until November 30, 2023, acknowledging the importance of learning and knowledge exchange.
